Lehigh Canal - Keeper's House Print (16" by 20": Paper Mounted on Acrylic)
The Lehigh Canal was constructed by the Lehigh Coal & Navigation Company to carry anthracite from the upper Lehigh Valley to the urban markets of the northeast, especially Philadelphia. The final section in Easton is maintained and operated by the National Canal Museum. The National Canal Museum is responsible for maintaining and interpreting the historic structures and sites within the 260 acres (1.1 km2) that comprise Hugh Moore Park (ignoring water surface), a National Register Historic District. These include Section 8 of the Lehigh Canal and its three operating locks, a locktender’s house(Red House in photo), ruins from three 19th-century industrial areas, and the Change Bridge, one of the first iron cable suspension bridges constructed in America.

Tioga Lake, Yosemite National Park Print (16" by 20": Paper Mounted on Acrylic)
Tioga Lake is a small glacial lake in the Inyo National Forest of Mono County, California, about two miles north of the Tioga Pass entrance to Yosemite National Park. The lake bed is alongside State Route 120 in the Sierra Nevada mountains of northern California. The lake, at an altitude of almost 10,000 feet is one of the last parts of Yosemite to open for the season. The lake area offers spectacular views, as well as trout fishing, a picnic area, and a 13-site managed campground. Some of the wildlife in the area are brave enough to approach humans, especially birds and marmots. Occasionally a bobcat or bighorn sheep can be seen, although the latter are particularly shy.

Remember the Past Sepia Print (16" by 20": Paper Mounted on Acrylic)
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park has so much to offer as long as you look. I wanted to post this picture to share it with the other Anza-Borrego explorers on the site. However, because desertusa.com is not just some photo posting site (not that there is anything wrong with having a flickr photostream), I felt an obligation to have some kind of story or anecdote accompanying the picture.

Along the S-2 (Carrizo Highway) Just south of Sweeney Pass Southern Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, CA South End of Sweeney Pass

Unfortunately, I did not have one. Plus, trying to come up with something good quickly, without use of cliches or trite-isms, was not as easy as I hoped.
